Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet (Suisei no Gargantia)

I have not heard of this anime until I started reading the comments on an episode of AoT (Attack on Titan). After giving SnG (Suisei no Gargantia) a few episodes a watch, I began watching it with its counterpart AoT.

While AoT is about (a darker) humanity survival story, SnG is about (a lighter story-telling of) humanity living in a more peaceful setting (or so it seems).

About the show:
In the distant future, a planet covered almost entirely by oceans, known as Earth, grows in space. Ledo, a boy who has known nothing but fighting all his life, saw the sea there for the first time. On its vast, faintly green waters, men organize huge naval fleets and live modest but active lives. Due to language and cultural barriers, Ledo lives as a lonely foreigner... but he's not alone. Ledo is just beginning his days on this green planet, asking what he must do to survive here, and what he is living for.

So, if you enjoy a little action, adventure, mecha, shounen, and fantasy, then give this 13-episodes anime a watch! The story becomes more interesting later on!

Ahhh... Chamber! Seriously, it (he) is the character in the show that I find entertaining to watch. Especially his way of explaining things. xD
