Anime Opening:

This story may seem like a typical shoujo-theme at first glance, but don't let its appearance fool you. The story plot is actually engaging and the characters makes you wonders how they will react next. I grew to like Yona more as she progress on her journey with her companions. Such a strong girl! Her companions are also quite entertaining to watch as each of them sometimes try to out-do the other.

The music in the anime are quite dramatic and pleasant at their occurring points. Especially that one part near the end of that episode! It caught me off guard; the melody was so perfectly placed that it makes that scene quite enchanting to watch and hear. It was beautiful~ *o* I will not spoil where that part appears so go watch the anime and find out that scene for yourself. xD

At first, I was wondering how many episodes this series is going to get, it turns out to be 24 episodes instead of 25 or 26. Honestly, I thought that 24 episodes will not be enough to cover Yona's adventure, to grow her character and take back her kingdom, but as the ending approaches I feel that the animation team did a nice job of ending the series where it is at. If the animation team ever plans for a 2nd season in the future for this series, I hope they do because I would like to see more of Yona and how her character will grow as she and her companions journey to save her kingdom.
